♥♥♥ About Me:
I am a restless full-time freelance designer, crafter, dreamer, web-designer, blogger and wife! I was born and raised in Colombia, South America and came to US three years ago to marry my husband.

♥♥♥ What I Love to do:

Proudly I design my own characters, cards, jewelry and Toys. I love Draw, paint, cook and Eat pasta ... and watch movies.

♥♥♥ How did I start?

Since I remember, I use my time Drawing, Cutting, pasting, sewing and writing. When I was 16 my art's teacher told me that I was not good enough to be an Artist and I believed her. You can believe everything when you are 16 !. That Day I stop drawing and started writing. Ten years after that I recover myself and gave me the opportunity to try again.

In 2007, I came to America to married my husband. I bought some supplies to make "some" Christmas cards and there started Mariapalito.

♥♥♥ What is a Mariapalito?
It is the name I gave to my shop inspired in my first doll character. She is a doll with a huge smile, red curly hair, sweet heart, happy faces and lots of fun. Mariapalito was born as an idea of creating small little gifts and creative expression to fulfill our lives of color !! The name came from The Praying mantis is also called in Colombia, "Mariapalito". I adopted that name for my store and for the image of my brand :Mariapalito. She is a character full of charm and color…
