i like taking pictures of my friends and food mostly. sometimes I get lucky and catch a funny/quirky/interesting person or thing. i think that taking photos is in my blood, even if i am not the greatest at it.
my great uncle was francesco scavullo but i never knew him. i would have liked to have met him, but my grandfather and him did not speak. some of my favorite francesco photos were the ones he took of my great aunt marie, she was/is just as beautiful of any of the women he took pictures of.
my grandfather on my dad's side took wonderful pictures of landscapes and places he visited on vacation - he was a wonderful amateur shot. i kept all of his cameras when he passed away. they are my heirlooms.
