I live in the Netherlands, 3 feet above sea level, in beautiful Groningen. I love to travel and experience new landscapes, perspectives, sounds, wildlife … & food. I’m a newbie birdwatcher; I started watching birds on my first trip to Australia and got more involved during recent trips to my mother country South Africa.
I posted my first photos/snap shots on Flickr in 2004, mostly photos I made with my little Canon A60. In 2006 I bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ30 and had lots of fun making photos. In September 2008 I bought a Canon 40D and a big lens, a.k.a. The Beast; I am now having serious fun taking photos.
Almost all my work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 Netherlands license.
