It's tough being a part time hermit and part time attention whore. The mountains, rivers, and beaches of the Pacific Northwest help feed the former.... Thanks to all my contacts and those who comment here on Flickr in an attempt to assuage the latter.
I won my Nikon D80 in a contest in 2007 completely unrelated to photography.... It was that or the tv, and I don't watch much tv.... The rest is posted right here for you to see on Flickr. All 5000+ of them, mostly in chronological order.
If I don't add you back and you're offended, then you're way too easily offended to be my contact and we should both save ourselves the time.

"As far as all my contacts go, I feel Sarah has been my biggest inspiration photography wise. I'm consistently impressed with her wide variety of photo subjects, as well as what she is able to bring out of said subjects. Sarah's multi stitch HDR's are the best I've ever seen, and consistently blow me away. She will shoot anything, and make it look beautiful. Much of how I shoot is because of Sarah, and quite often, I'm finding myself asking, "How would Sarah shoot this?" To top it off, she has great sense of humor, and more then witty enough to spar with the best of them. If someone were to hold a gun to my head, and force me to delete all my contacts but one, without hesitation, the one I would keep is Sarah. Thank's for being my greatest inspiration."

"Good lord, she shoots EVERYTHING! Rust, dust, piers, funk, bridges, punctuated by the occasional well-seen flower, then off into the woods or out on the plains or into the canyons, always interspersed with the biggest damn clouds, trains, bugs, tools, smoke, shipwrecks, food, and a wide assortment of WTFs?, macros, and models at the mercy of portable lighting. I suspect PEDs. A very few of her experiments don't quite work for me; most succeed wildly...and all of them bear out how she works her scenes to get what works FOR HER out of them.
She feasts on Aaron when he attempts to stir up @#$%, and she know more lines from The Big Lebowski than I do, both of which recommend her character. I'd love to go out shooting with her...keeping up would be tough, but it'd still be fun."9th April, 2010

"Sarah is a constant inspiration to me and my photography, she does things that many people only wish they could do and she pushes herself outside of the box, the result, amazing images and beautiful memories!"

"Sarah's photos wonderfully capture humor and beauty in the unlikeliest of places, allowing us to discover and see them both in her photos and in our own journey thru life too."

Zuiun says:
"Sarah is infuriating. It seems like all she ever does is hike up into amazing scenery and take fantastic shots. When she's not doing that, she's dodging trains for long night exposures, or mugging homeless people for their shopping carts so she can nail some unique HDR stuff. Seriously. Have you heard enough? Just go look through her stream if you don't believe me. Soon enough you'll be infuriated by her fantastic shots, too."

"What?!?! Sarah has no testimonials? That is SO wrong! Sarah is my idol of urban decay. She pushes me to see things in a whole new way. Her view of the world, especially at night, is unique and beautiful. Thank you, Sarah, for being such an inspiration, and I will continue to take ideas from your work, if you don't mind :-)"
