Thomas, speaking on Encaustic Paintings:
"For me, encaustic is about color, movement and interpretation. I work with wax until it tells me it is complete. I consciously do not use a plan; consequently nothing is forced into a structure.
Experimentation of mood, emotion and enjoying the creation of the painting, is my purpose.
The unexpected benefit of seeing someone develop a connection with my work has been very gratifying."
