I aquired my interest in photography from my father. I remember spending evenings in the darkroom he created under the stairs breathing in the smell of the chemicals as we waited in the red light for the image on the photographic paper to appear whilst swooshing it back and forth in the tray.

Following his death, and with the distractions of life of starting work, getting married and having a family photography took a back seat. However the development of digital photography sparked my interest again.

My favourite subject is vintage aircraft but (to the frequent annoyance of my family) I take my camera to most place we visit so have widened my subject matter.
