A lot of things have changed in my life during almost 40 ys.

But as far as I can remember myself, photo camera has always been with me. No matter what I've been doing - climbing the rocks in Kara-Kumy desert, hiking thru Meschera swamps, going on business trips, traveling by car thru the Scandinavia or just walking in the park with my beloved wife on the Saturday morning - my camera has been on my shoulder or in my backpack.

Certainly the camera grew larger with time as well. It went a long way from my first soviet Vilia to the current Canon 5D . But there is one very important thing that I've learned about the photography - it is not the weight of the camera, nor the size of the lenses that determines the quality of the still picture.

The image you are capturing with your camera goes thru the extremely sophisticated filter - thru your soul. Everything – your character, you attitude to life, to the world around you, the mood you are in, even some insignificant things you’ve been thinking while shooting or processing the picture – everything is reflected in the photo.

So sharing the photos gives an extraordinary opportunity to each of us to share bits of our souls with the rest of the world. And I hope that the glimpses of my soul you’ll discover in my pictures give you much more better understanding of who am I than thousand words of any written self introduction.
