Dan Powers is a perfect gypsy artist. He has been on the road with his art for at least 20 years. Photography is the second art form he has excelled at, ballet being his first. After retiring from the world of professional dance, Dan picked up a camera and took on the world of light. In just a few short seasons he became a recognized talent on the juried art show circuit in the States. When he is not traveling with his photographs he is somewhere in the world with his Pentax 6x7 camera, the Holga, a stash of film, Kate and an eye full of love for the beauty in every small drama that dances through his field of vision.
