Hello, visitor to my Flickr site. I work in a public library, but am an artist and an absentminded dreamer. Access to discarded books gives me some interesting drawing materials. Sometimes I am lucky enough to do a Streetpainting Festival (chalk on pavement). I post drawings on Flickr and have a couple of blogs.

Lately I do more art thanks to sharing online and seeing what other artists are doing. I'm originally from Alaska (born there) lived in Oregon and California and I now live in Arizona. I write in order to think better, then draw in order to feel better. Taking photos helps me to draw better. I have a strong tendency toward found objects including collage. I also love "found" experiences, overheard conversational scraps, odd chance encounters, and Prismacolor pencils. I also love blues music, Thai curry, and red wine. Anyone who does watercolor or Pastel has my admiration.

What do I long to do? Take a life drawing class, which I haven't done since college days.
