Photography is by far my passion. I have been challenged as I have embraced this career to see the world through different eyes. It has been exciting and interesting to look at things differently and find beauty in what others may have potentially walked right by and overlooked.
I am a Christian and find that there is great joy and purpose in capturing people and the world around us in a way that perhaps will enhance someone's self confidence and self image or cause someone to think about One who is greater than us and ultimately is the author of creativity.
There are so many of you that I have seen some amazing work being done! Keep on!! Continue to push yourself and grow in your skills and passion - your work may be great right now but there is always room for it to be greater!
I want to leave you with something that my brother challenged me with a few weeks ago and which continues to resonate. His words were this:
"Your photographs do not define who you are.....you define your photographs"
May you be uncontained as you pursue the passions and desires of your heart. Step outside of the box...break the box if you have to!...as you dare to let your life be a masterpiece.
