In a few words I would describe myself as an open-minded traveler with a taste for adventure and risk taking.

I am married to the lovely Hazel who is a talented entrepreneur developing her first however very successful business venture China's Secret Teas . We got married during summer 2004 in Cliveden House. We live happily in United Kingdom west of London.

In my personal life I am a happy amateur photographer. I see photography as a way to express myself and also as a way to highlight some of the beauty all around us. I found that some of the most simple and common things can be actually extremely beautiful. Lately I discovered that I like patterns and strong colors which are illustrated by my feature photos on my home page at Utata.

In the near future, I wish to improve my people photography as I struggle to create quickly and naturally a rapport with my subjects. Although I don’t really wish to be one day a professional photographer, I would hope that I will eventually be able to sell a few pictures here and there. Having the satisfaction that someone considered my pictures worthy of their hard earned cash would be fantastic reward (it would also allow to cover some the expenses of my favourite hobby).

In my professional life I am a technical account manager for BEA Systems in charge of key strategic customers for Europe. This exciting position entails providing guidance and advice on various technologies (BEA and non BEA), helping customers plan for the future, addressing technical issues and more generally supporting customers during pre and post deployment of the BEA products making sure they are completely happy and successful.

Definitely, I belong half to the geek family. You may follow my techy blabbering on my 2 technology blogs: Master the Web specifically targeting Web technology and Tech Talks more general talks about technology and software.

However I also belong half in the business family. I am hoping to soon start my own business and I am currently supporting my wife in her first business venture China's Secret Teas . This has been on ongoing dream since I was very young and I suspect you should see in the next couple of year some of the results (see my business blog Business Matters for the latest news).
