My photographic roots lie in events documentary. I first began photographing at the age of fourteen with aspirations to one day become a live music photo journalist, drawing inspiration from Glen E. Friedman and frequenting live concerts at the Carling Academy in Birmingham. I was also interested in documenting daily life, my interests have since spread to social documentary.

I've always been fascinated and enthralled by the magic of analogue photography and spent the majority of my time at Sutton College deeply immersed in creating black and white prints in the college darkroom.

I think having the privilege of being from an array of cultural backgrounds and being around people of very different perspectives of the world has fuelled my interest in travel documentary photography.

Exhibitions-
CURIO- April 2010 I showcased the work in the folders entitled 'I Awake' and 'Street Findings'

Next: I selected a slice of my best image from a BNP demonstration in Piccadilly Gardens from 6 hours of shooting, printed it on canvas and exhibited it in Manchester's 8th Day cafe May-July 2010

And Lastly I exhibited some works from the folder 'Kids' over the 5th & 6th of June at Rogue Open Studios, an exclusive weekend of art from hundreds of different artists, located in the heart of Manchester’s red light district.

I have events photography experience-some of my commercial shots of the Fly 53 party have been credited by VICE magazine. Plus i photographed Manchester's most popular student clubnight 'Monday Murkage' in 2009- my first paid commission!
