I love taking pictures. There have been too many times that I see something and say "I wish I had a camera". I stopped shooting for a while and now that I have a digital I am a lot happier. I am a woodworker by occupation and I love it. Building things with my hands keeps me happy. It is a part of who I am but I do need a break from time to time. I find myself redsigning stuff in my head when I am walking around or at a friends house and taking pictures allows me to get out of that frame of mind. I have always loved taking pictures but hated waiting for the film to be developed. A digital SLR has helped with that void in my life.
I am always open to constructive comments about my photos and love learning new things that I can do with my camera. I grew up in NYC and love this city but itch to get out of it. I find that I have been planning trips out of the city to places where I have been wanting to take pictures. Randomly looking through photos on this site has helped me a lot with my ideas for shots and things that I want to shoot.
