I have been taking pictures ever since I first bought my Canon Powershot A80 in June 2004 - since then I've learnt a lot by exploring works on photography on the internet. I later got myself a Nikon D70 in Sep. 2005 and have loved it since then...I am a graduate student working on my PhD in Mechanical Engineering and consequently, I do not get to spend enough time learning about photography the traditional way - my learning has always been through trial and error.
