Well since starting with flickr, and relishing the comments that have been given to my photos, I've upgraded from a Panasonic FX9 (point & shoot), to a Nikon D50, and now a Nikon D80. I've got to stop this camera acquisition stuff! So please nobody mention the new Nikon D300 or D90 (movies anyone).
I live and work in Belfast, and most of my photo opportunities are in and around what is a changing and now very dynamic city. I'm learning everyday how to improve as a photographer from; your comments; others' photos; the flickr forums; some books; experimenting with settings; and some photographic mistakes.
My new point & shoot - a Panasonic TZ5 - is now by my side at most times, to catch those photos that you see just walking (or cycling) by.
