I am an amateur photojournalist always looking to improve. I try to shoot digital like it's film; I try not to shoot film like it's digital.

In May of 2005 I purchased a digital point-n-shoot; March of 2006 I bumped up to dSLR. 20,000+ photos later I'm, still finding my style. I'm playing around now and going back to film with some ideas from the digital side.

I shoot with:
- Canon SD400 [Digital] PnS
- Canon Rebel S [35mm] SLR
- Canon FTb [35mm] SLR
- Canon 5D [Digital] SLR
- Canon [35mm] PnS
- Minolta [APS] PnS
- Yashica-Mat [120] TLR
- Yashica Lynx-14e [35mm] Rangefinder
- Yashica Lynx-5000 [35mm] Rangefinder
- Diana [120] PnS
- Ilford Sportsman [35mm] Rangefinder

Glass:
- 28mm f/2.8 FD

"So after some serious debate i have decided to change my testimonal about bd.
in the year or so i have known this fine individual i have seen him go from a "tourist" photo taker on the tiny little digital camera. that i eventually went out and bought as well, taking pictures like he changed socks. as we moved through a year of submersing ourselves into the music world, he began to take even more pictures but with each shot he would capture so much.
he became addicted to photography and became quite the talk of the town with his mad skills of a hobby started on a whim.
as i drifted out of the music scene, he stayed in fully and upgraded to a fine fine photo machine. he takes numerous pictures but now all of the ones he takes have some much to say on the musicians part and on bd's part. he is no longer in my eyes or my opinion an amatuer photographer, this kid has the gusto to top some of the best out there.
i have learned alot from him and he has passed a little bit of his excitement for photography onto me, which i owe him alot for.

look at his pictures and you will know what i mean when i say he manages to capture the unknown story, the one that makes you want to know more. he has a gift for photography and i am excited everytime i see him with his camera, cause i know some great pictures will be made.

in the end i find it a personal treat to see him go from the quick shots of the begininng to the well thought out snaps he takes now.
but in the end my favorite pcitures will always the ones he takes at the random moments of debauchery...and he knows what i mean.

so look at the pictures.....and he is still a dweeb that babbles.. :)"
