I'm and amateur shutterbug, and recently jumped onto the Canon bandwagon. I also recently found that I enjoy shooting with prime lenses for the majority of the time, because in the past, even with a zoom lens, I found that I only shot at the extreme ends anyway (18mm or 200mm).
