I live in Nara, in central Japan, and collect and deal traditional Japanese textiles, mostly indigo cotton and asa: shibori, katazome, kasuri, sarasa, and tsutsugaki, textiles dating from the mid 1800s to about 1920. I also collect Indian sarasa chintz painted textiles from the 18C and 19C.
