As a keen amateur photographer and writer, I love imagery of all sorts. The power of the single image though has intrigued me ever since I was old enough to hold a camera. Just one picture can evoke so much more than a thousand well written words; it can take you inside a world that could otherwise always stay out of reach.

My interest has evolved from outdoor sports photography to landscapes and the natural environment. Anything of beauty attracts my eye and portraiture has become my current passion. I hope you like some of the things that I see! Enjoy.

We all love looking at other people's work (that's why we all joined Flickr!), but please, please, please do ask permission if you want to use any of the images in my photostream! It's kind of rude to be blogging, copying, modifying work that doesn't belong to you, so "be nice"!

I have only recently (21 April 2009) decided to apply a copyright "All Rights Reserved" license on "*ALL* of my work, as there have been some abuses of the previous Creative Commons license. That means you should now ask first if you want to use my work.... generally you will get a "yes" if it is strictly for non-commercial purposes. Making money from work that you have not created and do not have permission for could land you in deep, deep trouble. Play fair and stay square.
