Flickr is just fantastic and has opened a new world for me. I love corresponding with other photographers so don't be shy.
Write something. Cheers Stu

please do not use or take my photos without permission. I'm happy to discuss the free use of my photos for social, educational, environmental or not-for-profit organisations and purposes. If you are making a profit however and you want a photo of mine then so should I.

Not at all happy about people with no photos, no buddy icon and no profile collecting my images. Flickr is for sharing and I suspect this activity is more about stealing. So don't do it.

UPDATE:
Have just had my first solo exhibition - '5 nights' . This was an exhibition of 30 framed images of shots taken at the 2008 and 2009 National Folk Festivals in Canberra. The exhibition was held in the famous 'Session Bar' where musicans perform continuously for the full five nights and days of the festival. It was a great success. You can see the collection on www.flickriver.com/photos/stuartcohen/sets/72157623353882...
The images are a limited edition and are for sale.

UPDATE: April 30, 2011
staging joint exhibition - 'Some guitars'- with old friend and guitar maker Simon Ramsey opening May 10 at the Australian National University School of Art. Simon's exhibiting his guitars and I'm exhibiting pics of him making them. Should be fun

"I happened to visit Stuart's photostream after he left a comment on my picture. And what I saw was a beautiful collection of well-captured moments, people, time and places. The picture that left a deep impact was that of 'Papu from Pushkar'. His images of India look so lively that you feel you are taking a walk down the streets of the country. Amazing work...intense pictures!"
