Spring child with 22 March as birthday.
I am inquisitive, creative, a bit chaotic and neurotic, philosophical, feisty, communicative, headstrong and a bunny lover.
Bunny slave to currently four masters and mastresses: Fin (a girl born July 2004), Floh (a girl born July 2008), Pamuk from the animal shelter (a boy born in June 2004) and Rudi from the animal shelter (a boy born approx. July 2007).
On bunspace we are the Fantastic Four
My beloved friend, soulmate, companion and teacher Calimero (a boy born May 1996) died on 18 January 2008 at the age of 11 years and 8 months.
My beloved little girl Pebbles followed Calimero on 26 August 2008 at the age of 5 years and 4 months.
My former user name (Sil &) Hasenbande is German and a pun. The German word "Bande" means both: gang and bonds. The German word "Hasen" means "hares" which in Germany is commonly used for rabbits as well - although hares are not rabbits :-)
"Hase" just sounds smoother and is shorter than "Kaninchen" (wich is the real German word for "rabbit").
The whole term means both: Bunny gang and bunny bonds.
D I V E R S I T Y
I believe that diversity is a part of the natural order of things – as natural as the trillion shapes and shades of the flowers of spring or the leaves of autumn.
I believe that diversity brings new solutions to an ever-changing environment, and that sameness is not only uninteresting but limiting.

She is a perfect bunny mum - or slave, as we bunny lovers refer to ourselves ;)
Her rabbits Fin, Pamuk, Pebbles and Rudi are adorable: you can see some beautiful shots of them in her sets (don't miss them!). And you can see also her beloved Calimero, gone but always in her heart - the place where soulmates can always meet.
Silke is patient, ironical, sympathetic; most of all she is a precious, gorgeous friend for me, and one of the most beautiful "things" I've found on Flickr.
