I am a 51 year old female living in Ohio with my husband, one dog (Lucy), and two cats (Redd & Sela). I love people and I can hate them at the same time. I am optimistic, idealistic, sensitive & happy most of the time.
I have two wonderful children (Chris 31 & Sarah 28) and three awesome grandchildren. These five souls are my greatest joy in life. I also have a great husband, who is supportive no matter how crazy or unpredictable I may seem. My mother is a fantastic woman who possesses an unlimited capacity for love for her family. She is truly an inspiration.

I have been (mostly) vegan since January 2008. I occasionally eat eggs from a local farmer whose chickens run the farm and are caged only at night for their protection.


This is what happy chickens look like.

I want to eat better, feel better, and stop supporting cruelty to chickens, pigs, cows, and other animals raised for food.
