This is really my Bodlak family site. I am recently widowed. My daughters and grandchildren, all artists, are geographically spread apart from California to Spain. Flickr allows us to be in touch, sharing (and organizing)memories and art with each other across the miles.

From 1979 to 1992, we lived in Spain. As a family, we were able to live and breath art and exhibit our work in many beautiful places in Spain, especially in Andalucia. Thanks fo Flickr and the talent of members in Spain, we can revisit memories of those times and places through others' great photography!

Spain and Art and Flamenco continue to be part of our lives in many ways. One of my daughters continues to live and work in Spain as graphic designer: Heather Bodlak. The other daughter, Mara Lea Brown, is an author and artist and lives in California. Her book, SOLEA, was recently published in Barcelona.

Every day I am inspired by the great work of artist/photographers here on Flickr. Thank you all, especially my "contacts".
