Well I started out with a Canon A1 about 5 years ago. I paid £100 for a mint example, added a full range of lenses and a T90 as my love affair became an obsession. One of the highlights being my acquisition of the Canon FD 85mm 1.2 lens.
Soon after acquiring the A1 I purchased a Nikon F55 for auto focus reasons. I progressed to the excellent F100 and my defection from Canon to Nikon was complete. Nikon really do make the best bodies, lets make no mistake about that one. After handling an F100 everything else felt second rate.
I'm shooting with Nikon body'd Fuji S3 & S5 Pro at the moment which allows me to use Nikon lenses and accessories. I love the colours and DR. The next step is a full frame fuji. Here's hoping they deliver!
I love shooting available light. In fact all I shoot is available light. My SB600 must be the most under used camera accessory of all time.
