My photos are a portfolio of how I see the world.I find a bit of everything interesting and feel driven to document this visually.Since I was very young,I expressed myself through artwork and photography. The silly game I played,to myself, while riding in the family car was; "Not gonna see that again." I'd focus on a tree limb or bird in flight and felt I'd witnessed an event that was as unique as a fingerprint!
Every day I care for children, I remember the awe that the world held when I was small.I vowed never to lose that and taking photos reminds me."
Capture" is such an appropriate term! That moment will never "be" again. My photos are my own unique journey. Now that I'm a grandmother, the documenting of that journey seems even more precious!

"The moment I came across Susan's photos I knew that I had to have her for a contact!
Her photography is the best of everything, plus it is a daily cheer-up.
Susan has divertisity, she snaps many things and does it as a pro. Her photos are beautiful, and LOL funny which goes with her beautiful personality.
I am so happy I have met her, even though not in person, { I'd like to }, because she will help when help is needed! I have asked many a question too.
Siily frog, teaches us too; she adds the info along with the photos, so we have a little dictionary along with her lovely soul that shines through each take.
Warm, talented, witty and a pro, that's our Flickr's Silly Frog!!!!!!!!!"

"Susan is a photographer with heart and soul.
She´s definitly got "the eye", the talent to see the world through a frame and capture it´s beauty. If she wouldn´t take photos, she would probably be a painter instead.

Her macros are exceptional, her experimental shots inspiring.
Users of fancy high-tech cameras [like myself :-) ] could easily get embarrassed by the results she achieved with her Kodak compact. Now she´s got a more advanced piece of equipment in her hands and I´m very curious to the see what happens when spring arrives in New England.

Susan´s heartwarming comments are a constant source of motivation.
To me Flickr wouldn´t be the same without her.

Oh, I almost forgot, she likes frogs... :-)

    See you on Flickr,
    Ralf"
