  As Reathel and others before me noted in their testimonials, Luís has this wonderful mix of kindness combined with incisive photographic judgement. You can rely on Luís to give you an informed, competent, factual, actionable feedback that many serious photographers need and seek. I certainly do. Luís helped me grow early on when some others of his caliber were not ready to offer a helping hand. I value that. For me, Luís is one of the pillars of PP that keeps the standards high and who gives the group its spirit.
  
  Some of my comments are well meant and intended to be actionable and constructive but they are sometimes tough. I have a sense that Luís understands the constructive intent and that he takes criticism well. Luís is one of the few people on PP that I value the most and that makes me always come back.
