Born and raised in Walla Walla, WA. After marriage and 2 children, moved to San Jose, CA where I had two more children and after 22 years of marriage, divorced. I lived in SJ for 35 years, working as document control for a nuclear engineering firm at the end, before moving back to Walla2 in 2001. My last job for six years here was secretary at a church. A bit different from the nuclear engineering world. I am now retired.

In searching for the other Walla Walla (found it in Australia in New South Wales) I found a winery there which posted a map. The map shows the winery to be between Wagga Wagga to the north, and Barrumbuttock to the south west. All we've got is Wallula and Waitsburg. Not nearly as interesting.

My main cameras are Canons. Late summer 2010 I purchased a used Canon 50D and am VERY happy with it. My backup is a Rebel XTi. My lenses are Canons: 17-85mm lens, 70-300mm lens, EF50mm F/1.8 and a 500D macro. Before going on a trip to Scotland in June 2010 I purchased a Tamron 18-270mm lens which worked out very well! Last year I added a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 which takes amazing pictures for a pocket camera. It has 9.2 mp and 10X zoom.

    SJMWALLA2 says:

"I enjoy Walla2chick's photos. She always does a wonderful job. We can take pictures of the same thing and her's will be beautiful, while mine will look a bit boring. She really has a talent for photography. I've had the pleasure of being with her while out taking pictures. She is a sweet, gracious, easy-going lady. There is nothing pretentious about her nor does she display any snobbery that is so often seen in photographers or people who are involved in any of the arts. It is a joy to know her and visit with her."

    Carlos Ferguson says:

"I really enjoy viewing lynn's images. Her images, and use of natural, soft, diffused lighting show a slice of life that is exceptionally and naturally beautiful which needs some form of protection from uncontrollable growth.
Thanks for sharing and good luck!"
