i have been living on the navajo nation in northern arizona between the grand canyon and monument valley since 1987. the land, the people are beautiful and i'm thankful for my time here. since june of 2009 i've been expressing my gratitude to the navajo people through a wheat pasting project i call "big." i'm using my archive of negatives from the past 23 years.

to quote che´ "...the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love." i love where i am now and love this project. with it i'm attempting to build community.

meanwhile, i continue to study pandeiro and cycle.
