Hello, thanks for checking out my photostream. I am a respected photographer by many despite being on a small budget and limited in camera accessories, I try to get the most out of my photography despite the resource imitations I have.

It all began on April 2007 when I bought my first camera, the Nikon Coolpix 8800 from this dude here.....

I then upgraded to the D40x which was a brand new camera at the time, its since been replaced by the D60, I then got a D200 after being frustrated by the D40x limitations, just recently I have upgraded to the D300, which is now my primary camera, I keep the D200 for backup purposes.

My biggest achievement photography wise is being commended in a worldwide photography competition where I was up against thousands of photographers from all over the world, out of the 25,000 images submitted I was part of the 2% that was selected. My commended image was featured in the Sony World Photography Awards Winners book.

Ive also had back to back wins in Postcards From The Park, winning for Scotland in 2007 and 2008, My winning photographs were exhibitioned in London and turned into postcards for public distribution and I got to meet Mike McCartney (brother of Sir Paul McCartney) in person twice as well as "Absolutely Fabulous" actress Joanna Lumley. I have also been critically acclaimed by celebrity photographer Huggy Ragnarsson after I was selected as one of the 50 winners for a competition run by Duracell, describing myself as a "promising young photographer with great potential". my picture was exhibitioned at the Getty Images Gallery in London.

On top of my competition winning achievements, some of my work have appeared in many mainstream newspapers and websites.

Since I began photography I have developed a large and loyal fanbase which is always growing everyday. I have also met wonderful people all over Scotland and I have generated over 125,000 all time flickr views since I joined in June 2007. On top of that I have over 1,000 MySpace friends.

I always want to improve, but Im chuffed that there is lots of people out there, especially celebrity photographers who really like my work.

Life is great at the moment, on top of my photography I have a fantastic job and a wonderful girlfriend. I am looking forward to a very successful future for myself.

Despite the majority of my pictures being of unsigned rock bands, I have taken photos of many mainstream acts like Pete Doherty, The Bluetones, Hot Chip, Fuck Buttons, British Sea Power, Blur, Idlewild, Neville Staple from The Specials, John Power (Ex La's), Deacon Blue, Alphabeat, Kings of Leon, The View and Coolio, some I could not show you due to "sign off" reasons.

I have also worked with a number of clients, including former Speedway singer Jill Jackson, Coolio, Get Loose Promotions, 32Music, DF Concerts, Skinny Mag and Glasgow Guardian.
