I'm a conservative Christian computer programmer in Lincoln, NE. I'm fairly new to photography, and have only recently purchased my first digital SLR - a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I've also purchased a 70-300mm zoom lens (the el-cheapo Canon one) to experiment with telephoto photography, as well as a set of close-up filters to experiment with macro photography.
I'm married with one daughter, and a son due to arrive within the month. I take a lot of pictures of them, as well as scenic pictures and close-ups. I'd like to be able to work up the nerve to do some street photography, or even some nice candids, but haven't gotten there yet.
