Dan Meade is a photographer and writer based out of New York. After a series of road trips spent documenting North America he and Rob Bellinger founded The Manic American to act as a hub for the photos, videos and tales of what they had found.
In between his Manic travels over four continents, Meade has covered the New York music scene, including acts ranging from Lydia Loveless to My Morning Jacket for GigApe.com. He has also covered events such as the CMJ Music Marathon and the Tribeca Film Festival.
Since 2010, his work has been featured in multiple New York Photo Festival and United Photo Industries exhibits in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
What is have posted here on Flickr is more of a sampling rather than any sort of definitive collection of his photos.
