I'm a hobbiest photographer and really enjoy the flexibility shooting digital gives me. It's much easier to explore shots without having to worry about the costs and time involved with developing film. At the moment I really enjoy big aperture with a narrow depth of field shots. When I photograph my kids or other people I prefer to use a long lens and shoot from a distance to capture everyone being more natural. My SLR's are a Canon 7D and XTi with a variety of lenses. I usually carry a PowerShot SD1100 as well.
