After being here on flickr now for quite a while, I finally decieded to edit this profile and bring things up to date. For years I used film cameras and I still do. I have several Canon FTb and a Canon F1 and an A1. I was given a Canon SX 110 and I love the 10X optical zoom on it. I have now entered the world of the DSLR with a Canon D-450. Been working on mastering it.

About me,
I am 54 years old and married to the best woman on the face of the earth. I am retired military and disabled now. We love music, my wife is mainly country, but I like all types except rap which i can't stand. Love old rock and mellow soul from the fifties and sixties. We are square dancers and I am a square dance caller. Right now very busy converting all my old vinal records to CD. Hobbies include Magic, Ham Radio, Storm chasing, Flight Simming, Lionell Trains, and Photography. I am trying to start a hobby shop. I believe that a clean desk is the sign of a sick mind so I do know that I am totally sane. We live in a small town that kinda gets to us at times and are now just waiting for the day that we will be able to move someplace that isn't so narrow-minded. Thanks to the USAF, I was able to see a pretty good part of the world and live in several countries. My favorite place was England. I love people and love making new friends and meeting new people. We both love to cook.

I am making a new years resolution to start posting more photos on here too, so what do you think I need to put in here. I really get a kick when you make a photo a favorite. My wife tells me I put off things too much. There are several things that I need to do around here and have been thinking about doing them for a long time, now if I can just get started doing them.

Please make comments on my photos, both good and bad. I promise I wont be offended.

We are both thinking about getting good Nikon DSLR's soon and i will also like to get the Nikon P700 point and shoot camera just to have something else to play with.

I had heart surgery a few years ago and am just now starting to feel better.

Also we have decieded to get pro accounts after the new year gets here.

On the radio, I can be heard often on 20 meters anywhere from 14.250 to 14.300 mhz. also in the evenings I like to work 75 meters around 39.000 mhz a lot and sometimes late at night I can be heard in the novice sub band of 80 meters but you will have to be able to copy morse code to understand what is going on. I hold an advanced class license and my call sign is KC4JTA.

My wife Maria is a Tech clas operator and her call sign is KE4SAK. She only works 2 meters FM.

I am up and down all hours of the day and night and love to talk. Some people say I am a bit of a motor-mouth. In school I was always getting into trouble for talking too much in class. I dont mind at all for people calling me anytime of the day or night. My phone number is (270)836-4849 if you ever need a friend to talk to or just want tom chew the fat.
