"The entertainment provided each day is exceptional. Waldron and Waldron's friends generously share to the world their piece of the planet. Thank you all."

    peyotecoyote says:

"PEI...the beauty and the beautiful. Island life and island people. Sgeulachdan and his friends capture truly remarkable images of their east coast. You make me long for my family summer place at Keppoch Beach. "Stay where you're at and I'll come where you're to", that's what my Grandma Purcell of Charlottetown used to say and looking at your pictures, it's not difficult to understand why. She came to PEI in 1915, where she stayed...litterally! She never left the island, not once."

"Your photo stream makes us proud to be Islanders. Thank you for your efforts each day. The photos are not spectacular, as many I have viewed in flickr. They show the Island as it really is in fair weather and foul."

    Souris Refugee says:

""Mr. Souris" is a generous guy who takes pictures of places and the parade back home for us who can't be there. I can't be there because I am working in alberta and I can't get home this year for Christmas. So Waldron and Susan gave me when I asked and a lot of other people Christmas from the island. I don't know how I will ever pay you guys back for being nice to us out here. To be able to see home and the people and know the town which i used to hate is still there to get back to. merry Christmas to everybody in Souris and St Charles and to everybody in general."

    Lori away from home says:

"I am a Canadian born in Hamilton. My parents are from Souris and East Point. This is my stream of choice. I have looked at the photo of the day, every day, for almost two years. It is my release, my daily fix. I am addicted. We have not met, but I feel I know you. Next time I am "home", a day's shooting and dinner is on me."

"I am in love with this photostream, sqeulachdan and the others who contribute to it. Being holed up in a tacky motel on the west coast of the States in a foul city; I can find my little island in the gulf is just the same as I left her. Thank you for all that you do for me every day and for all the others you bring pleasure to. You are beautiful people taking beautiful shots. Love you all!"

    Jeff's Golden Pigskin says:

"I met Mr. Leard this summer. I am a devoted fan of his web site and photography. They are both a promotion for living one's life to the fullest. I am looking forward to spending more time on the Island. I have made some good friends there. Communing with the land and sea has given me a new perspective on the planet. We must work to recover what has been lost."

    Anna's universe says:

"I met you several years ago, shortly after I moved to the Island. I have been a silent observer, carefully watching as your Meeting Place website evolved. Then you expanded to this form of display. It is a marvelous outlet for your work. Your photography is an anticipated part of each day for me and I hope, many others. You claim you do not do a great job with people. I disagree. My testimonial is in response to the photos from the ceilidh's. You do capture the happy moments in people's lives. The Island is a culture unlike any other. I hope this form of happy community news will continue. It brings a smile to my heart each day. God bless you."

    Hajnii says:

"My first visit to you was by adventure. I visited and studied history and Canadian culture. I learned a love with passion of our Prince Edward Island. My second visit was an adventure with my camera. It was a granted privilege and honor to photograph two TODAY IN LIFE photos for your Eastern Kings Meeting Place. Your generosity to share your island of senses will remain in my heart forever. I was unable to remain and complete my journey. I remain in my thoughts to return when I am able. Prince Edward Island was the only place I journeyed twice. It is the only place I will journey to thrice. May you enjoy health and happiness."

    Tricia's Cardinal Photos says:

"Light is to the photographer what oil is to the painter. It is the artistic medium. The word photography itself is derived from the Greek, meaning literally to draw with light. Creative picture-taking depends on how a photographer makes use of light. And perhaps nowhere does light produce as striking an image as when it's reflected on water, whether it be the dramatic natural light of the sun or the moon, or the man-made spectacle of harborfront city lights after dark. It is obvious to me that in your part of Canada, with little ponds and the ocean at your doorstep, the splendor of light-on-water is a commonplace, yet ever-enchanting sight. This photographer is an artist. I hope that in the not to distant future to visit this place. Through your photography, I see the country to the north in a different light."

    Foto Flash says:

"Thank-you Waldron for bringing me back to my PEI photographic roots. Your Today In The Life site has allowed me to see my home province for what it is. It is not Cavendish, University Avenue, the Malls and the ugliness of modern architecture. It is the scenic beauty of all the little nooks and crannies you have discovered, and share with us every day. I am very proud and happy to call you a friend."
