Artist Statement

SFAUSTINA is an artist graphic designer from the Bay Area. He thrives on making works of art reflecting the everyday elements in life through merging illustration, collage, graffiti, typography and graphic design. He has contributed artistically to public works project in the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy. Recently he used his illustrations to help promote the use of bio-diesel for PG&E. SFAUSTINA participated in an artist series for Burton Snowboards and has been featured in numerous youth culture publications such as IdN, Design is Kinky's Semi-Permanent, and COLORS magazine.

SFAUSTINA founded, designed and published the first online graffiti / street art magazine BLOODWARS in 2003. He has shown his art in Europe, Asia, and the United States resulting in over 400 sold works of art.

He currently works for Francis Ford Coppola Presents as Artist / Senior Graphic Designer.

My illustrations and design work has been featured in international magazines such as the TOCA ME magazine, IdN, Semi-Permanent (London 05), French design magazine etapes: 97, Dirty Soup, German magazine Spatium and Rojo out of Barcelona. Domestically my illustrations has frequented Anthem Magazine and Arkitip. I have done layout design work for A number of publications world wide.

I feel blest from God that art did not become dormant with in me as I made my way through living but has become my way of life. Because essentially we all are beautiful creations of art, we all are critters of art. I thank you all for taking interest in my work and truly inspiring me to let my spirit be known in this medium.
