Photography is a hobby for me, I often have a camera with me when I go out for a hike.
I was born in Finland, lived in Sweden, Luxembourg and Switzerland, where I spent most of my life. In summer 2009 I moved to Oxfordshire, UK. I speak Luxembourg language, French, German, English, Finnish and I'm trying to get to grips with Russian.
For a living I do research in physis and since summer 2009 I work at an international research centre near Oxford, UK, but I won't bore you with that!
My other avocations are hiking (cameras need fresh air...), cross-country skiing and mild mountaineering.
