I have had a lifelong interest in railways and transport generally. I started taking photographs as a child but always struggled with the expense when the cost of developing and printing 12 photos was the same as the return rail fare from Doncaster to Wolverhampton or some other exotic location. I tended to have films developed but not printed so 50 years on some of my photos are coming to life for the first time thanks to the computer and scanner.
The most enjoyable part of posting photos is the feedback from people about the content of my photostream. It is nice to know that it stirs memories and recollections and it is rewarding when information has been added. I am happy for anyone to download my photos for their personal use and enjoyment but do not want any of my material to be used commercially.
