First Root Farm is a small vegetable farm located on an acre of land in Minute Man National Historical Park in Concord, MA. We are part of an exciting new farm incubator project, through Battle Road Farms, an educational non-profit committed to supporting and advocating sustainable agriculture in the Greater Boston area. At First Root, we are committed to growing delicious, wholesome vegetables using organic methods. We run a small CSA as well as a sometimes-farmstand on Lexington Road. We believe that community is at the heart of farming; we love what we do and we love sharing that love with others! From cooking classes to shared work days to potlucks of local bounty, there's something for everyone at First Root.
