Why "Head First Only"?

It's a skiing club. It was formed in 1986 by me and some friends in response to the televised antics of the Down Hill Only Club as seen in the BBC documentary "On the piste." We were rather disappointed that their approach seemed to involve drinking cocktails rather than hurtling down mountains, although I hasten to add that there's nothing wrong with that per se. I got my first camera when I was seven years old, and I've been taking pictures ever since. However, it's only since I discovered digital photography that I've really started seriously looking at the pictures I take and wondering how I can do better.

So you'll get skiing photos here, and other subject matter as well. Let me know (politely, please) how I'm doing.
