Imperial Pixel says:
"Well, what can one say say?? He gets it right.
From his earlier postings, you can see the growth. The framing, composition, DOF, the use of natural [environmental] color and lighting, and the use of contrast. All pointing to the development and growth potential of this photographer.
Often enough it is very hard to transition photography skills from nature/macro work, static imagery of inanimate objects to photography of the human form.
It is all too common to 'overdo' a photograph. Put simply, they are tastefully erotic and sexy. Your eyes cruise through the photograph taking in the story and information that each holds. Every little detail holds you to the image. The models, posing and props obviously help but there is more to an image than this. The locale, the mood, the expression, and the energy in each image seem easy for this photographer to catch.
Most if not all of the photographs using models are small graphic novels.
As an artist I am inspired - and jealous. As a fan I am left cheering him on. As a viewer and participant in the 'experience' I am left wanting to see what he will come up with next.
The only thing holding him back in my opinion is himself, but this will all seem mute as his experience and talent matures with each project.
I can't hardly wait for what unfolds for this talented and gifted photographer."17th August, 2007
