Say hello to Julian, who from this point on, will refer to himself in the third person in order to simplify the task of writing an “about” page. Born and raised in the Pacific Southwest, Julian considers The Sunshine State - also known as California – his home.

Often misjudged as a nerd or geek, Julian prefers the latter because of the distinct difference between the two. While both can be considered knowledgeable concerning all things tech and inter-webby, geeks posses the natural ability to carry on a normal day to day conversation with random individuals on the street. Julian does that.

Julian’s interests lie in the social intricacies of the net and stock market which motivates him to make awesome things online. Some of those awesome “things” can be found here on ShadowsIllusion.com. Julian holds a B.A degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting, and a minor in computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Julian currently is an auditor for Deloitte as he carries out his duties as the necessary evil in the financial world.
