The Bongodogs make their home on South Padre Island, Texas where the band has been entertaining locals and tourists alike for the past ten plus years. The Bongodogs play their own eclectic mix of Latin, jazz, reggae, blues, and rock that has come to be known as Caliche Music. The Bongodogs horn section sits right up front, where they do their best work, cranking out big bold horn lines and finely crafted solos. The exotic percussion and steel drum add a fresh Caribbean flair, while the rhythm section beats out bouncy dance grooves. All of it is tied together with the inventive Spanglish lyrics of their original songs. The Bongodogs show is fast and fun. No sitting on your hands for these guys! They reach out and bring you right into their music. You are sure be singing their songs in the shower for days to come.
