My first ever camera I owned was a Canon EOS 500 (film) SLR. I bought it because I wanted a telephoto lens to take photos of my favourite players at the 1998 Australian Tennis Open. From there my passion for photography grew.

In particular, I love taking photos of sports and wildlife. I've also taken a few landscapes after the odd tramping (hiking) excursion.

I hadn't touched my digital SLR (Canon EOS 350D) in a while, but since discovering this site and the amazing photos on it, I am inspired and my interest in photography has been rejuvenated.
