My name is Shane Thomas, and I am an artist working in the beautiful state of Colorado, nestled right at the foot of Pikes Peak. I love the beauty and power of smaller works of art. I will never forget the first time I saw Vermeer's portrait, "The Girl with a Red Hat". Such a small painting, yet it had the power to draw you across the room. I hope to create the same experience for my patrons through my daily paintings. After graduating from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, I nearly let the dream of working as an artist die. But no longer...I am getting back in the game.
