I am 61 years old and a retired factory worker of 34 years. I try to keep a healthy sense of humor which my wife enjoys. I wear an Indiana Jones hat alot when I'm out which totally amuses her. Around Branson MO, with all the tourists, you see most anything these days, so I fit right in.

Photography and music has been my two life-long passions, and photography really got serious in October 1979.

I enjoy being creative with photography. I see it as an art form and I refuse to be put in the proverbial box. I try to record what I see at the time, yet I admit, there are times when a finished imge will consist of what I wish I had seen...haha! However, I will not try to pass off a composite image as an original. I'm very familar with the rules of photography but the purist view is not always appealing to me. I enjoy originality and am a firm believer in the principle...KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, although I have been known to vary from it! Furthermore, I refuse to copy other people's work. My work is mine alone and no one elses. I do enjoy admiring the work of others and there are many, many good artists with which to compete and compare. I am also one who enjoys sharing info with others...If I can ever be of help, just ask!! Living on Lake Taneycomo near Branson is a pucturesque place for a camera buff.

A portion of the work I have posted on this site are from my days with a 35mm camera and a roll of Fuji Velvia. Presently, I'm putting miles on a Nikon D200 with various lenses and filters, and a Bogen tripod.
