My husband and I are retired near a lovely little central Alberta lake. My greatest joys in photography are getting close-ups of the things growing in my garden and in our woodland. Also love trees and skies. Since I also paint, I like to make my photos an artistic composition insofar as possible.

After being active on flickr for two years or so, I found I was flooded with the goodwill of others to the point that I could not keep up with all the awards, contests, etc. I really enjoy my contacts and the comments left by any who like my photos. However, just tell me what you like( or don't) , or click on "Fave" but please do not give awards and invites. Thank you!! That will help to simplify my life.
