Lucio Carbonelli is now quite grown-up, but he basically considers himself a twenty-something still. If, as it’s normal nowadays, someone asks him what he does in his life, not even so convinced he replies: «In this moment of my life I am a “literary” translator from English (he has translated many books, poorly paid!), a enthusiastic photographer (never paid!), and a journalist (musical/cinematographic critic, especially) less and less practitioner, tomorrow who knows!».
In fact he hasn’t decided what to do in his life yet, even if it seems he’s already quite old. The reality is that nobody gives him a job because he’s simply not so good to put himself up for, and besides he slightly panics whenever he tries to find one.
So, he loses his time in front of the computer, more or less (more less) taking care of his blogs, and collaborating with (for the honour and the glory, obviously) a couple of websites (always less); finally he hangs around and reads, writes, watches, listens.

Romantic as nobody else has been, anyhow he has given up always falling in love with the wrong girl and he quitted searching fearless and undaunted the soulmate who will never want him, the deluded one. By now the most important thing for him is not amour anymore (but working!), also because he has raised the white flag against feelings like that and friendship once and for all: for him human beings are really too complicated, incomprehensible.
He still likes dreaming, anyway: he’s always an Aquarius in fact.
But, as Ecclesiastes says: "From a multitude of dreams comes a multitude of delusions, and words"!
And that’s it.
