At www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/372584 - book Landscapes of Light.

I was born and have lived most of my life in Cumbria. I am an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society and have exhibited at The London Salon. Most of my work centres around the landscape of The English Lake District and the surrounding area. Though there are sunsets in this book I am a strong advocate of the dawn light, particularly in winter. Most of my photography is in colour though the clean lines and tones of black and white are not ignored. I do not deny manipulation of my images, mainly with Photoshop, but hope the final result does not reveal my tampering too easily.
I am, also, a poet and have had work published in various anthologies and magazines and read my poetry at local venues.
Currently have a photographic/poetry book on sale - Landscapes of Light.

Use Nikon FM2 (occasionally only now), Nikon D60 with 18-70mm nikkor lens and Nikon D70s with an old 75-300mm lens - have been known to use 2x also. Pocket camera is Canon G9.

Originally specialised in landscape but as age creeps up anything goes including years spent as a GP.

I now have a Garden blog at darbishire.blogspot.com/
