I first became interested in photography in the early to mid 80s but the real fascination began in the summer of 2004 when I got my first digital SLR. Although I always enjoyed using film and, in particular, slide film with its sharpness and vivid colour, ultimately, I don't think I had the patience to wait to see the images.
I love getting home after a day's shooting with a DSLR and loading up my cards to see what I've got immediately.
I use Canon SLRs and lenses but have also recently been enjoying using a Panasonic GF1. This is the first camera I've ever used that seems to combine SLR quality with a relatively small camera/lens.
