Photography is a relatively new hobby of mine. While I always have been interested in it, I was mainly on the appreciator side of the coin, due to other hobbies taking my time and money. About a year ago, I realized I would be travelling a lot for work. And one thing I always wanted to do was take good travel pictures, as I love looking at other peoples'.

I bought a DSLR and started to drown myself in books and websites on how to take good pictures. Before I even took my first trip, I was hooked on this photography thing. Now I lug my camera everywhere (for when I forget it, is when I see the most spectacular shots.)

My other hobbies include software dev, electronics, cooking, and gaming. The hobbies I have neglected in recent years, but I still hold on to hopes that i will return to, are: guitar, painting, and camping

I welcome criticism. However: Not on the subject of my photos, but on composition, lighting, technical details, etc. Artistry is subjective, and I have been involved in creating art in many forms my whole life, so please refrain from critiquing that area, I mainly want technical advice.
